Off the chart vintage 40s 50s satin party dress or evening gown with mini bolero jacket in a wonderful watermelon pink color. It has a halter top pleated shelf bodice with tulle insert, metal side zipper and huge wide sweep skirt. The little bolero jacket is a cutaway style with corset styling - fitting under the bustline. This is in the prettiest sheer blush colored pale pink daisy flower cutwork lace fabric. The gown hugs the body in the right places and the full sweep skirt is really wide at 178 inches. The dress is unlined with a metal side zipper. It is about a size 4 and measures: bust 33, waist 26, hips not applicable due to super wide skirt, length about 46 inches. Jacket measures bust 36, waist 27, length 16. This gown is superb and a sure head turner. It has some very slight pulling around the front right seam which can be remedied by restitching about 1/16" and the tiny hole. We take numerous photos of our items so that the buyer can get a full visual of what it looks like as well as the condition. We describe each item to the best of our ability in regards to age and condition but please bear in mind that the items we am selling are vintage meaning used and old - not new, with possible imperfections and sold as is.
