Stunning antique/vintage fine Madeira Richelieu cutwork embroidery runner, placemats and coasters/coctail napkins in cream linen. The runner and placemats also have wonderful drawnwork and the grapes are done in high relief! The set consists of 1 runner, 6 coasters and 6 placemats for a total of 13 pieces. Condition is excellent overall with some faint stains on some pieces but they need laundering as I'm not good at it. My mom was a whiz at stain removal but she passed away. I do know that there is a product that museums use called Orvis or Orvus. I've also been told by a dealer I used to buy from years ago that soaking them in plain water several times without detergent helps. I've also been told that old fashioned shaving cream is great as well as oxalic acid. This is one of two sets that we have, the 2nd has a smaller runner.
