Beautiful antique Chinese famille rose porcelain plaque hand painted and depicting 5 Asian gentlemen. The plaque is really lovely and measures 16x20 with beautifully rendered figures, trees, florals and scenery. There is Chirography or calligraphy with seals or stamps and a bold artist signature on the plaque. Not sure what this dates from since I don't read Chinese but it is exquisite and better than the photos show - especially the colors - at least on my monitor. The plaque is signed but we cannot interpret what it says and since we know very little about Chinese porcelain, cannot pinpoint a period for this piece. We have described this exquisite plaque to the best of our knowledge using the internet and other examples for information. We do know that it is a quality piece that came from an Estate product with very high end items from all over the world and belonged to serious collectors.
