Amazing avant garde Thierry Muggler 40s style fitted wool and leather flared batwing jacket with belted back. It is hour glass shaped and so figure flattering it isn't funny. We had a matching skirt at one time but misplaced it several years ago or it might have been lifted. The leather accents on the jacket are buttery soft and the jacket looks unworn. I believe that this was boxed and someone used a box cutter and damaged the sleeve in the process of opening the box. It is not a very long flaw, only about 1/2 inch and only a little over 1/8"wide. We are trying to obtain a quote on repair for it but they generally run $25 to $80 based on size and if it is a patterned fabric. This jacket is so stylish and even though it is vintage 80s/90s it is right in style today. It has a wonderful 1940s cut and style with loads of details. It is tagged a size 40 (European) which is a size 68 US. It measures bust 34/36, waist to 30, hips 41, length 27.
