Gorgeous antique Royal Vienna hand painted heavy gold gilt portrait plate, portrait charger or portrait bowl. This is artist signed and wonderfully rendered, with the woman having long flowing hair and dressed in period clothing. The piece measures 11 5/8 inches and has two holes with string between it for hanging. The plate is backstamped with the beehive mark as well as stamped and incised marks. The jeweled colors used in the edges along with the design is really unique and very beautiful. The artist employed different effects and textures on this plate.
