Couture hand sewn vintage 3 pc skirt suit in the most amazing vintage fabric ever. Wait until you get this in your hands. It is a brocade fabric with raised flowers (almost looks quilted) with gossamer fine gold metallic threads woven in. There is no label so I think this was made by an Atelier and couture finished. The only stranget thing about this suit is the bustier which has a zipper longer than the bustier itself. I think the person wore it tucked into the skirt or pinned up inside the bustier back. It was obviously done this way so that you can get into it but I'm not sure why the designer didn't just make the type like jackets have so it would open up completely. I would think it was by request of the customer because the workmanship is exquisite and it looks like it is unworn. I would say this is from the late 70s or 80s glam period and is perfect for a monther of the bride! The jacket has cuffed sleeves and killer heavy expensive faux pearl domed buttons - 3 down the front and 2 on each sleeve. The sleeves are cuffed. About a size 6; Measurements are as follows. Jacket: shoulders 16.5 sleeves 24 bust 36 waist 32 hips 44 length 30.5 Bustier: bust 33 length 11 from underarm, 14.5 longest point Skirt: waist 27.5 hips 38 length 21 This item is posted and managed courtesy of Bonanza.com On Nov-01-19 at 15:01:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Track Page Views WithAuctiva's FREE Counter
