Gorgeous antique/vintage pair of Chinese gilt enamel porcelain elephant candle holder statues in the famille rose pattern. These are not small but substantial at around 14" tall by 12" wide. We could not find any marks on these wonderful pieces but they are in amazing condition and were very well loved/cared for. Not sure of the age but the workmanship is wonderful. They are heavily gilt in the decoration and the motif is beautiful, especially the people in traditional dress. This pair is really lovelier than the photos depict.
