Antique or vintage Sherpa ethnic trade bead necklace done in white and pink coral we think. This is really heavy and the stones are large. The white are approximately 13 x 11 mm and the pink colored ones are about 18mm x 15.5mm. These are strung on some sort of jute or string with leather ties on the ends and small bits of leather in between each bead. This is very unique and very well made and was an heirloom passed down to me from my family, however I'm not sure where this was acquired. They look like ancient trade beads and could be 19th century. They have natural inclusions and pits in the stone/material.
