Antique Victorian shirred silk twill and straw ladies hat with berries and leaves ornamentation. The hat is delightful with pretty leaves and berries on half. We love the straw and silk combination which is rare, but it works. The hat needs to be properly steamed but we are leaving that to the new owner as not to damage it. This is a perfect hat for a display; the estate it came from was the French couturier that had rooms full of fine French and European fabric as well as a good supply of clothing and accessories.
