This sheer threaded? dotted Swiss cotton fabric is really beautiful in lovely canary yellow on yellow. This would be perfect for doll clothes or for heirloom sewing. This pretty fabric measures 37 inches wide by 45. There is actually more fabric but there are cut out pieces at the bottom and about 2 inches down the width. It is probably another 1/2 yard you're getting. The fabric is in new old stock unused condition and has been stored for many many years so probably needs laundering. I suffer from bad allergies and most of the time cannot detect odors unless really bad so this could have normal storage smells. This was from a very old estate of a couturier from France and just discovered in a newly opened box. She had amassed a huge amount of fabric, linens, clothing and accessories from the 1800s to probably the 60s. She lived and worked in France for most of her life and retired to the US. She brought many fine examples with her and we were lucky enough to get a huge amount of items which we are still sorting through years after our purchase.
