This vintage sheer flocked Swiss floral fabric is really outstanding and beautiful. Done in cream on soft pale canary yellow, the flocked inverted paired design is delicate and feminine. This would be amazing if used for heirloom children's clothing. Measures 46" wide x 5 yards long. The fabric is in new old stock unused condition and has been stored for many many years so probably needs laundering. I suffer from bad allergies and most of the time cannot detect odors unless really bad so this could have normal storage smells. This was from a very old estate of a couturier from France and just discovered in a newly opened box. She had amassed a huge amount of fabric, linens, clothing and accessories from the 1800s to probably the 60s. She lived and worked in France for most of her life and retired to the US. She brought many fine examples with her and we were lucky enough to get a huge amount of items which we are still sorting through years after our purchase. We have a large amount of dotted Swiss, both flocked and embroidered, in cotton and organza like fabric so bookmark us to see our newest listings.
